Mental Wellbeing

The Wollondilly Health Alliance is bringing together community leaders, organisations and service providers in implementing the Five Ways to Wellbeing in the Wollondilly Shire in ways that are innovative, addresses the needs of the Wollondilly Shire, is based on sound research and allows for a wide range of people and organisations to be involved.

The Five Ways to Wellbeing is the overarching framework for mental health promotion activity, with the concept of wellbeing comprising two main elements: feeling good and functioning well. The Five Ways to Wellbeing include:

  • Connect
  • Be Active
  • Take Notice
  • Keep Learning
  • Give

Wellbeing Wollondilly has launched with a very successful event filled with activities by organisations from across Wollondilly demonstrating how they are implementing the Five Ways to Wellbeing. Search #WellbeingWollondilly on Instagram to take a look at the photos from the day.

Banners have also been created by the community for the poles located in Bargo, Picton and Tahmoor. These will be up every October. Take a look at the winning photos below!
