Dilly Wanderer Enhancement

The Dilly Wanderer is Wollondilly Shire Council’s mobile community engagement and information service. It currently visits various towns and villages in Wollondilly and provides information to community members as well as activities for children and families to participate in. In partnership with the Wollondilly Health Alliance, this service will be able to visit more places and reach more families. It will also increase the Dilly Wanderer’s current services by providing extra activities. Click here to view the Dilly Wanderer schedule. Currently, there are two new Dilly projects in place:

  • Tai Chi classes will be run out of the Warragamba Town Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11am until midday. There is a fee for these classes.
  • Child Development Information Sessions - monthly sessions provided to families regarding childhood development. Sessions are currently being run at Community Links Tahmoor. Please contact Vida Carmody for further information.
  • Heart Foundation Walking Groups - these sessions are provided to the Wollondilly community each week, focusing on physical activity and social connectedness. There is a group that walks from Picton Garden on Thursdays (9am) and Fridays (10am) and a new group at Tahmoor on Wednesdays at 8am.
